How to Play

Goal: Move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles (top-right), building up by suit from Ace to King.
Tableau: The 8 columns of cards are your working area. Build down in alternating colors (red on black, black on red).
Free Cells: Easy starts with 5 holding cells; classic Medium uses 4. Each cell can hold one card temporarily.
Moving sequences: You can move a descending, alternating-color run only if you have enough empty free cells and empty columns. The formula is (empty free cells + 1) × 2^{empty columns} onto a stack. An empty destination column does not count as a helper, so the same run may be legal onto a card but too long for a blank column.
Double-click: Double-click any card to automatically send it to its foundation pile if valid.
Strategy tip: Try to keep free cells empty and open up tableau columns for maximum flexibility.

Why can't I move a long cascade into an empty column?

That is the supermove rule, not a click bug. With two empty free cells and one empty column, you can move 6 cards onto a matching stack, but only 3 cards into the empty column. Park one more card or open another helper space first.

What is the best FreeCell strategy?

Expose Aces and low cards, avoid filling every free cell, and create empty tableau columns whenever possible. These spaces let you move longer sequences safely.
